Summary:
The NPRA-MMDA Industry Dialogue, Bil 1/2024, was held on June 12, 2024, at the NPRA office in Petaling Jaya, bringing together 16 NPRA officers and 30 representatives from the MMDA. The primary purpose of the dialogue was to facilitate an open discussion on critical issues surrounding regulatory policy, registration requirements, and variations relating to Medical Device-Drug combination devices. Participants engaged in meaningful exchanges on the QUEST system and other pertinent matters, aimed at enhancing collaboration between regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders. This dialogue served as an important platform for addressing concerns and fostering better understanding in the regulatory landscape.
